Over the past decade, workforce development has been a for America’s working middle
class and the underprivileged. The term workforce development relatively emerged to
describe an array of employment training programs, activities, and policies. From State
agencies to non-profit and private sectors, workforce development has been practiced in
both urban and suburban regions. However, moving through the decade, the epoch of
workforce development has transformed tremendously. Yet, and still, with minimal progress
of success in preparing individuals for the workforce and providing a framework that will
enable interminable training in attaining credentials prior to being placed in the workforce. Read more
